Navaratri And Its Significance in Astrology

Navratri is a major Hindu festival celebrated throughout India and Nepal. It is a festival dedicated to the goddess Durga or Shakthi — a manifestation of the present energy of the universe. The word Navaratri in Sanskrit suggests that 9 nights (‘Nava’ which means ‘nine’ and ‘Ratri’ which means ‘nights’).

Astrology has the significance of 9 number which represents nine Planets.

The festival lasts for nine nights and ten days, and also the 9 styles of Devi or goddess ar worshipped throughout this point. Although Navaratri is determined five times during a year, those celebrated at the onset of summer and winter are having a lot of importance.

Sharad Navratri, the one discovered at the beginning of the season or the onset of winter is that the most popular one that is usually named as Navratri. Vijayadashami or Dussehra is determined on the tenth day of Sharad Navratri.
Navratri or the 9 sacred days mark the most auspicious days within the Hindu calendar and are celebrated across the country with a lot of fervor and celebration. Additionally called Maha Navratri.
The festival is well known to commemorate Maa Durgas convince the demon Mahishasura and represents the success of peace and Dharma over ego and evil.
Day one of the Navratri celebrates the goddess Shailputri. This avatar of immortal Durga is the embodiment of the collective power of Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahesh. The goddess during this avatar is worshipped because of the consort of Shiva. Day one represents the Lord Surya planet.

Day two of the festival celebrates goddess Brahmcharini, the second avatar of Maa Durga. She is happy and endows happiness, peace, prosperity, and grace. full of bliss and happiness, she is that the thanks to release or moksha. Day two represents the Lord Chandra planet.

Day three of the nine-day festival of Navratri celebrates Goddess Chandraghanta. She represents beauty and style and is worshipped on the third day for peace, tranquility, and prosperity in life. She is the image of bravery. Day three represents the Lord Budha planet.

Day four of the festival celebrates the goddess Kushmunda. This avatar of the goddess is taken into account the creator of the universe. it is believed that she created the universe through laughter. Day four represents the Lord Mangala planet.

Day five of Navratri celebrates the goddess Skand Mata. She is that the mother of Hindu deity, or Karthikeya, who was chosen by the gods as their commander-in-chief within the war against the demons. The goddess represents the vulnerability of a mother who will fight anyone once the requirement arises to protect her kid. Day five represents the Lord Dev Guru Brihaspati planet.

Day six of the Navratri celebrates the goddess Katyayani. The goddess was born to the excellent sage, Kata, as the avatar of Durga. wearing orange, she exhibits huge spirit. Day six represents the Lord Shukra planet.

Day seven of the festival celebrates Goddess Kalratri. This avatar of the goddess has a dark complexion, disheveled hair, and a fearless posture. She is that the most fierce variety of goddess Durga and she is wearing white, a color that represents peace and prayer. Day seven represents the Lord Saturn planet.

Day eight of the festival celebrates the goddess Maha Gauri. The eighth avatar of Maa Durga represents intelligence, peace, prosperity, and calm. Day eight represents the Lord Rahu Planet

Day nine of the festival of Navratri celebrates Goddess Siddhidatri. The goddess is thought for having supernatural healing powers. The goddess is described as a happy state of mind, similar to the sky on a clear day. Day Nine represents the Lord Ketu planet.

Day Ten is called Dushhera which represents well over evil which can be interpreted as if you believe Sri Mata she will take care of all ill effects of these nine planets. In this way, Astrology is related to this Navratri.

People celebrate these 9 days by observing fasting and dressing up in several colors of the auspicious days.
